LED Manufacturing Assembler Tech I


Compensation: $13.90-$16 Hourly (DOE)

Our manufacturing division in Mesa, AZ is currently seeking to fill varying experience skill-level positions as Beginner Assembler thru Lead Assembler Technician. Varying experience levels to little experience are welcome to apply. Full-time Mon-Fri 6a - 2:30p.

Your duties include:

•  Assists with completing simple hand-wired LED assemblies and cabling up through ship readiness
•  Performs a wide variety of basic electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks
•  Track and record your progress using log sheets and daily pass downs
•  Follows established guidelines and examples to assemble, quality check, test, and inspect finished goods in a high productivity manner to meet deadlines
•  Assists with materials prep and sub-assembly production for lead assemblers
•  Conducts tests on unit function, reliability, and packaging quality and records results
•  High awareness of assigned task and how it relates to other steps/requirements in the production process 

You should have a unique combination of Skills, Talents, and Mindset as the following:

•  High school diploma/GED or related experience and training in the last five years or less
•  Minimum of one (1) year working in a manufacturing or production environment, quality assurance, assembly, and testing roles. Certain industry Shift Leaders from fast-paced team disciplines may also qualify (e.g. In-N-Out Burger)
•  Ability to identify and effectively use and operate hand tools safely such as soldering iron, wire strippers, pliers, heat gun, power tools, and other simple machines
•  Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that may have changing priorities and some compromises
•  Enjoy doing the right things right. Quality and Execution is Job #1
•  Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions as well as taking quality notes for self
•  Ability to detect and correct quality problems as trained. We incentivize improvement suggestions with CASH
•  Must have excellent attention to detail, be driven, work well independently, and have a knack for problem-solving or continuous improvement ideas

• Must be able to sit for 4 hrs a day

• Must be able to stand for 4 hrs a day

• Must be able to lift 30 lbs

• Basic math skills are a must
•  Excellent Attitude. Team Win/Success. We are all equally busy or all caught up and enjoying an off-site team celebration event
